Paper is the most natural, renewable and recyclable communication medium.
The main use of white eucalyptus is the production of wood for cellulosic pulp. The papermaking process is a long and complex industrial process, which consists of separating the fibers from one another. Paper is roughly a mesh of wood-specific constituents, the fibers coming from the hardwoods and the tracheids from the hardwoods. The proportion and use of each is a function of the type of paper intended.

The eucalyptus found in Portugal the growth conditions that give it unique characteristics, presenting, on average, 60% of fibers in its constitution, a value above the world average (30 to 40%).

This large fiber density associated with a rapid growth of the tree (10 to 15 years) makes this species the most used in the Portuguese PPP industry.
